Shabbat Services

Sketch of ACI's Aron Kodesh by Jack Diner

Services are held in our beautiful sanctuary, surrounded by the dramatic 1928 murals of Louis Pierre Rigal, which were inspired by the writings known as the Pirkei Avot (Ethics of the Fathers).

Our weekly Shabbat morning services begin at 9:30am and end around 11:30am in the main sanctuary. Our egalitarian services include music, Torah reading, Haftarah, and plenty of singing!  After the service, join us for refreshments at our Kiddush. Kiddush luncheons also take place frequently throughout the year.

Junior Congregation and Tot Shabbat begin at 10:15 on alternating Shabbatot, and our Nameir programming begins at 9:30am. See MASKIT for more.

Friday evening services are held at least once a month, and are preceded by a potluck parve or dairy dinner. Please see our events page for the next scheduled Friday evening potluck and service.
